It’s been widely reported that our good friend Stash has been fired from 98 Rock. The firing stems from Stash’s recent accident and DUI.

Many in the community know Stash as a good guy, a good father and one of the most popular D.J.’s on 98 Rock until now. Stash is famous for his many stories about his “Rock Star” friends. Program Director Dave Hill is in search of the next “Stash” as we speak. It’s going to be hard to fill those shoes though as Stash had been with the station for 24 years, so finding a replacement that can win over Stash’s fans is going to be quite the undertaking.

At this time Stash cannot comment on the firing as he has apparently signed some sort of agreement with the station. No official word if it is some sort of severance pay or an agreement to return at some point in the future. One can only wonder. This might be one of those rare occasions where Stash doesn’t say a word.
