Chop Shop/Atlantic recording group Scars on 45 have announced plans to release their debut, "GIVE ME SOMETHING" EP. The four-song collection was self-produced by the Bradford , England-based quintet and will be available at all DSPs on January 18th. The title track of the "GIVE ME SOMETHING" EP is Scars on 45's first single and will also be featured on the band's forthcoming debut album, expected out later this year. The 2011 Winter Rock Asylum will be held Wednesday, January 19 at Canal Room, 285 West Broadway, Manhattan and will feature ZO2, Sweet Cyanide and Diablo Royale, three of NYC’s hottest rock bands.  The first home town show of the new year for all three bands, Rock Asylum promises to be one of the most kick-ass rock shows imaginable and is sure to be a sell-out.  The event will be hosted by Cherioke of Rubix Kube -- the ultimate 80's Tribute -- and will feature some new and exciting elements such as a celebrity red carpet, a rock fashion show, DJ Alex Kayne, cool giveaways and more.  In addition, every ticket sold in advance will sponsor a kindergarten kid from P.S. 52 in Brooklyn to attend a concert that the Z Brothers -- ZO2's alter ego kid's band -- will be donating to the school on January 18.  Those sponsors will receive a “Thank You” card from the student they sponsored when they pick up their tickets at the will-call window the day of the rock show. There are 100 kindergartners in P.S. 52 so the goal is to sell 100 pre-sale tickets.
