CHARM CITY DEVILS LIVE CD RELEASE SHOW AT RECHER THEATER APRIL 21^st 2012

Wow, there was a ton of interesting bands on the bill tonight starting with Wasabi, Yesterday’s War, Carbonstone and 10 Blade, all good, and some…interesting.  The reason we’re here tonight was to see our boys Charm City Devils. The show had to be sold out or close to it. Not bad considering all the shows going on in town tonight. The energy in the room really was electric, especially when CCD too k the stage.

The Devils took the stage in the explosive fashion they are known for. Starting the night off with Spite from the Sins record they ripped through their live show with rapid fire succession tearing into Start It Up and Burn from the first record, pausing only for Nick Kay to tune up (also had a string break) and to slow it down for Idzi (Childs Play) to take the stage for renditions of Wind and What’s  Next To The Moon (AC/DC) which were dedicated to the memory of the late Brian Jack.  John Allen on vocals, Nick Kay on guitar, Vic Karrera on guitar, Anthony Arumbula on bass and the incomparable Jason Heiser on drums, the boys delivered it tonight, Rock and Roll style, broken strings and all, gritty and heartfelt connecting with the fans in attendance tonight. The crowd was captivated or in tune with the guys tonight. This is and was Rock and Roll, it’s what it’s all about, the music and the passion and the connection with the people. Charm City Devils, the people’s band tonight.
